Task Steps:

• Collect 1 Chunk of Floating Ore 0/1 (ALL)
• Collect 1 Gnomish Heat Source 0/1 (ALL)
• Combine the floating ore with the heat source in the EBQD 0/1 (ALL)
• Deliver 1 Chunk of Floating Ore to any smelting engineer 0/1 (Steamfont Mountains)
• Collect 1 Veil of Velium Vapors 0/1 (ALL)
• Collect 1 Ice of Velious 0/1 (ALL)
• Combine the Velium Vapors with the Ice of Velious in the EBQD 0/1 (ALL)
• Deliver 1 Experimental Ballast Qualification Device to any smelting engineer 0/1 (Steamfont Mountains)

Walkthrough:

• Collect 1 Chunk of Floating Ore 0/1 (ALL)
  • Head to Lichen Creep. There are piles of rocks on the ground all over the zone, they can be meleed or casted on, and do not fight back. Kill these until one drops the Chunk of Floating Ore.


• Collect 1 Gnomish Heat Source 0/1 (ALL)
  • These can be vendor purchased in many places.


• Combine the floating ore with the heat source in the EBQD 0/1 (ALL)
  • Place both the floating ore and the gnmoish heat source inside the Experimental Ballast Qualification Device you received earlier, and hit combine.


• Deliver 1 Chunk of Floating Ore to any smelting engineer 0/1 (Steamfont Mountains)
  • Head back to the build site in Steamfont, give the result of the combine to any smelting engineer.


• Collect 1 Veil of Velium Vapors 0/1 (ALL)
  • This is made by tradeskills. The Velium Purifier can be purchased from Frundle Frenkler in Thurgadin (as indicated by on the map below).
    
    
    • To make Vial of Velium Vapors (Pottery: Yield 1, no fail), Combine in a Velium Purifier
      • Small Piece of Velium (2)
      • Velium Vial
        • To make Velium Vial (Pottery: Yield 1, trivial at 15 (No-Fail)) Combine in a Kiln
          • High Quality Firing Sheet
          • Unfired Velium Vial
            • To make Unfired Velium Vial (Pottery: Yield 1, trivial at 122), Combine in a Pottery Wheel
              • Small Brick of Velium
              • Crystalline Silk (3) - Drops from spiders in Velketor's Labyrinth.
              • Glass Shard (2) - Can be vendor purchased from Elisha Dirtyshoes in PoK.


• Collect 1 Ice of Velious 0/1 (ALL)
  • This is a very rare drop, can be found in multiple zones.


• Combine the Velium Vapors with the Ice of Velious in the EBQD 0/1 (ALL)
  • Place both the Velium Vapors and Ice of Velious inside your Experimental Ballast Qualification Device, and hit combine.


• Deliver 1 Experimental Ballast Qualification Device to any smelting engineer 0/1 (Steamfont Mountains)
  • Head back to the build site in Steamfont and turn in your EBQD to any smelting engineer for task completion.
